Estimation Age of Bloodstain Using Smartphone Application on Colorimetric Analysis

Advances in technology should be able to help the work of forensic experts, especially solving criminal crime cases. Estimated age bloodstains is an important factor analysis. This study aims identify using colorimetric method and observe changes color on surface material based results photos a smartphone camera. experimental with control time series design, where bloodstain samples are observed certain period longitudinally. Bloodstains were dripped five different surfaces, namely ceramics, glass, cardboard, paper, newspapers, then observations taking for 72 hours. Estimation artificial neural tissue by backpropagation method. The showed that network was built predict classification. In addition, there significant influence surfaces ceramic, paper newspaper materials, namely. 63.7%; 84.3%; 84.6%; 68.2% 86.6%.
